The Women’s Fund is looking to recruit four creative youth interns for the 2020 summer internships. The team will comprise of one project coordinator, one social media specialist, one videographer and one graphic designer. The summer creative interns will work closely with our public awareness team on reaching our target demographic for the Adolescent Health Project. Through a paid 10-week program, the four interns will engage in developing social media and video content to amplify the brand to their peers and attend community events. The interns also will be trained on social justice principles.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Initiating key direct marketing activities and promotional events
> Participate in local events and networking with other youth groups to promote the brand and increase amount of youth accessing reproductive health services
> Distribute and deliver marketing materials directly to youth
SPECIFICATIONS:
> Up to 20 hours per week
> May 26 – August 7, with a week off for the Fourth of July holiday (June 29 – July 5)
> Some weekends and evenings as needed
> Must have reliable transportation
> Must be between 18-24 years old
COMPENSATION: Pay is $15 per hour
