Student worker needed! This is an ideal job for someone who loves photography and finding out about people.
Ted Kirk, a retired Lincoln Journal Star photographer, has donated to the UNL archives a trove of photos from his decades-long career. The library would like to have an oral history interview conducted with him to document his career as part of the photo collection.
The student selected for this job would first spend a total of three hours training with Associate Dean Mary Kay Quinlan to learn how to conduct oral history interviews followed by work in the Love Library archives to review the photo collection. The student would set up and conduct audio-recorded interviews with Kirk and provide abstracts of each interview session.
The job pays $12 per hour.
