Marketing Coordinator - University Press (Lincoln, NE)

The Marketing Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Marketing and Fulfillment Manager to support all functions related to marketing, which includes promotion, product development, pricing, and distribution. This is a broad marketing position that allows the right candidate in this position to become involved in a wide range of marketing activities and to utilize his/her marketing skills and talents.

Associate’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business Administration with significant coursework in marketing plus one (1) year experience in related field; or equivalent education/experience will be considered. An understanding of marketing techniques used to identify and address the needs of diverse customer bases. Experience in creating visually appealing, accurate, and informative promotional materials.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software. Familiarity with basic HTML. Social media skills. Ability to maintain complete and accurate records. Good organization skills and ability to meet deadlines for multiple assignments.

Preferred Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or a related field; or equivalent education/experience will be considered. Knowledge of online publishing.
