This course is an ACE 9 certified course available to all university students. It is an extremely current and relevant way for students to exhibit global awareness and knowledge of human diversity through analysis of an issue.
Students will analyze the spread of verified information and misinformation about coronavirus from news organizations and social media. The class is also planned to include worldwide remote virtual video discussions with journalists.
This 3 credit special topics course is taught online by CoJMC faculty member Gary Kebbel. The class begins next Monday, July 13 and will wrap up on Monday, August 3.
