NET, Nebraska’s PBS and NPR stations, is looking for a student who will gain knowledge and experience in video production, Avid editing, remote sports broadcasts and television studio production. Create and edit short video segments and sports highlights for broadcast & digital distribution. Develop skills in content storytelling and videography, primarily in the field of sports broadcasting. Assist in the production of NET Sports content originating from the NET remote truck and studio. Assist producer with show preparation and assist in all aspects of production.
Available for weekly live sports production. Share responsibility for cataloging and record keeping of digital media, archive footage and research materials. Assist in gathering information for short and long-form documentaries and other projects. On-air/voice talent potential is a plus, but not a requirement.
Student majoring in Broadcasting or related field. Experience in sports production a plus. Must be highly organized and able to work on a variety of assigned projects. Must be willing to collaborate with a team of experienced content creators. 10-15 hours per week.
