Journalism/PR student for long-term internship
Long-term internship:
Looking for a reporter/layout artist for various projects related to the Nebraska United Methodist Conference. Work location is 3333 Landmark Circle, in north Lincoln (on the road leading to North Star High School).
Ten-15 hours per week starting second week of May or whenever available, through the end of summer, or preferably into the next school year. Duties include:
Must be able to work in Indesign. The work includes more design and layout than copywriting/reporting, but there is a need for both. Good opportunity with someone who has layout skills to hone their editing/writing skills. Photography skills also a plus.
Overall direction and time frame will be agreed upon by the student and Kathryn Witte.
Equipment will be provided, although student may use their own if they are more comfortable using their own camera, etc.
A letter of interest and resume is all that is required to apply. Work pays $8 per hour to start, moving to $10 per hour once student has demonstrated ability.
