Digital Media Coordinator - University Television/Vision Maker Media (Lincoln, NE)

This position coordinates the Marketing Manager and Director of Development’s strategies and plans to deploy successful digital media, marketing and fundraising campaigns that align with Vision Maker Media’s public media audience education purposes, collaborative public media partnerships’ events, and the organization’s mission. The primary role of the Digital Media Coordinator is to digitally coordinate and facilitate Vision Maker Media’s digital media, marketing and fundraising campaign launches, coordinate and post inventive and innovative digital content for Vision Maker Media’s online social media platforms, research social media data and keep updated on digital trends that best educate and engage audience participation regarding Vision Maker Media’s digital and public media content.

As a member of the Vision Maker Media team, the ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency with social media/online platforms and tools, data collection and research methods, coordinating multiple overlapping digital campaigns and content, ability to adjust to shifting deadlines, and coordinating ever-changing and challenging online/digital needs and trends for marketing, fundraising, sales, and educational content as Vision Maker Media’s social media/online footprint continues to expand and grow. Contributes thought leadership to real-time and/or projected problem-solving to digital glitches, lessons learned, challenges, obstacles and/or cyber threats.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, liberal arts and/or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience; or equivalent education/experience. Skills in client relations, communication, collaboration, storytelling, social media, and digital media with basic skills in design. Experience with Adobe software (Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign). Proven working experience in digital media. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and writing skills. Ability to collaborate and communicate within a team environment. Knowledge of Tableau Reader, Salesforce, Google Analytics, WordPress, FileMaker Pro.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Skills in client relations, communication, collaboration, storytelling, and social media. Digital media, such as digital illustration or web development and design. Database management, analyze data, and research methodology for idea generating and/or report generating. Must embrace the mission of Vision Maker Media. Positive attitude, ability to work independently, and meet deadlines. Highly organized and proficient time management utilizing online software tools such as Smartsheet, Airtable, Dropbox, MS Teams, Outlook Calendar.
