The Silicon Prairie News summer editorial internship is a paid position of 20 hours per week starting in late May and ending in August (we're flexible on day-to-day schedule). As we have a regional focus, we're looking for someone based in or around the Silicon Prairie flagship cities of Omaha, Des Moines and Kansas City. The position requires you provide your own computer.
SPN is looking for an ambitious journalist with an entrepreneurial bent and a love for tech news. SPN is a startup, too, and is building a new kind of newsroom -- experimenting with the way we gather, report and share our stories. This summer, we want to find a great tech and startup reporter to be a part of it.
We're searching for a storyteller, a social media sharer and a stickler for grammar and style.
