Customer Service Assistant (part-time) - Nebraska Public Media (Lincoln, NE)

Nebraska Public Media (formerly NET) is looking for a professional responsible for answering incoming calls to Nebraska Public Media (NPM), routing calls, and answering general questions. Process check and credit card transactions for membership department, sales transactions, and web transactions. Performs data entry into accounting system. Responsible for additional support duties as assigned.

Associate’s degree plus two years office support experience required; equivalency considered. Experience working in an environment with considerable interaction with the public necessary. Working knowledge of general office practices and familiarity with accounting practices as they relate to data entry necessary. Experience with cash handling, word processing and data entry experience required.

Excellent proof-reading skills, good attention to detail, and demonstrated effective communication skills preferred.
