Rabble Media is a for-youth, by-youth, emerging-media storytelling platform — a program of Rabble Mill (501c3). We’re here to connect and engage young people across Nebraska through content creation. We seek an imaginative and dynamic content creator to generate stories for our growing audience that reaches communities across the state, while also mentoring young storytellers in cultivating their own digital media skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Concept and create compelling, weekly, multimedia content focused on Nebraska youth culture (video; podcasts; social media assets; etc.)
> Participate in professional projects with major local and national companies and organizations, as needed
> Represent Rabble Mill/Rabble Media at events and activations, including festivals and parades in Omaha and Lincoln
MUST HAVES:
> Eager to find and share stories relevant to Nebraska youth
> Immersed in digital media (a deep understanding of Adobe Suite, cameras and/or audio gear, etc.) and experience with digital production
> Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
> Passion for working with youth
> Ability to physically work from either our Omaha or Lincoln office, and attend events in the Omaha/Lincoln area
