Eleanor is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska. This position requires experience with business development, client services or strategy in the areas of branding, advertising, communications and web design.
The Business Development Manager would build strategic relationships with potential clients on behalf of Eleanor. From the first opportunity through the final contract, this person would guide the process with clear understanding of the capabilities and desires of the Eleanor team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reach out and contact potential clients with a clear understanding of what work Eleanor provides
Actively manage relationships with prospective clients
Organize contents to sufficiently respond to RFPs
Develop proposal and pitch materials, including case studies and presentations
Meet deadlines
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong oral communicator
Enthusiastic and positive personality
Ability to identify growth opportunities for Eleanor both internally and externally
Manage multiple projects, revisions and timelines
Effective presentation skills
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, client services or strategy in the advertising, communications, and design industry. Please note, this does not include purely sales experience.
A minimum of an associate's degree in a related field; four years experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
