Apply for a prestigious Dow Jones News Fund editing internship before Nov. 1. DJNF offers sports, news and multimedia editing internships (as well as business reporting internships) across the country. Our students have gone to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Dallas Morning News, the Denver Post, Kankakee Daily Journal and White Plains Journal News.
This is a highly competitive program. So you need to plan ahead.
Take a practice test right after fall break at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 17 in Room 213. Then sign up for one of two test dates – Oct. 25 or Oct. 26. Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board in the 2nd floor newsroom.
The actual application is due Nov. 1. Work on it early: It requires a lengthy essay.
