We’re looking for a Creative Manager to oversee creative direction, project management, development of art concepts and designs, and implementation of promotions, advertising, and marketing for all divisions of the Bosselman Companies. Must have a strong, innovative portfolio in graphic design, multimedia, video, writing, and social media.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supports the Director of Corporate Marketing in execution of marketing all divisions of the Bosselman Companies to local, regional, national, and special interest audiences to increase profits through all divisions, to maintain and increase traffic, to increase public recognition of all divisions of the Bosselman Companies, and to increase brand awareness.
2. Assists the Director of Corporate Marketing and manages Marketing Team with planning, developing, writing, designing, coordinating, negotiating, purchasing, scheduling and general oversight of company advertising, copywriting, promotions, brochures and flyers, photography, audio/video production, company websites, corporate communications, company newsletter, new and social media, intranet, and email marketing strategies providing targeted communications to key constituents. Oversees company billboard contracts, maintenance, vinyl, and repairs. Oversees compliance of corporate brand management.
3. Art direction for all media, including print, digital, social, written, photography and video. Oversees creative and design staff and project management within the Marketing Department, overseeing assignment delegation, creation, and completion of projects. Serves as a designer for overflow print design projects as well as multimedia, video, social/new media, photography, and writing projects.
4. Develops and/or coordinates special events, trade shows, or special projects as assigned by Director of Marketing. Assists with planning and management of trade show booths, the company’s annual Leadership Conference, Bosselman/Gus Fonner Stakes, Chuck Bosselman Memorial Golf Tournament, and other special company events.
5. Conducts market research and analyzes industry trends, reporting findings to Director of Marketing. Updates knowledge of current trends and developments in marketing, convenience store, petroleum, trucking, truck service, retail, sports, and hospitality industries by reading appropriate publications and materials and attending related seminars and conferences.
6. Works with and communicates with all departments and divisions to acquire details and information regarding all programming and events.
7. Assists with media and press relations, assists with creation and maintenance of media tools such as press releases, media kits, and marketing department photo library. Prospects opportunities to market retail divisions through industry press. Promotes the Bosselman Companies through any public representation opportunities. Serves as a staff photographer and/or videographer as needed.
8. Advises the Director of Marketing concerning departmental issues, procedures and needs; suggests ideas and improvements. Assists Director of Marketing with interviews, orientation, training, scheduling, and evaluates the performance of and, when necessary, disciplines and recommends discharge of subordinate personnel.

Position Requirements:
• Requires bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field plus three or more years work experience in the areas of marketing, advertising, graphic design, multimedia/web design, photography, and public relations.
• Requires excellent design skills and software knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.; video production skills; audio production skills; photography skills; writing skills; and a strong understanding of new and social media, websites, and relevant technology. Advanced knowledge of graphic design and printing processes.
• Requires advanced analytical skills, creativity, people management skills, meticulous time and project management and organizational skills, strategic thinking, creative problem solving, ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining deadlines and goals, excellent people skills, and ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude as a public and media representative of the Bosselman Companies. Must demonstrate initiative, be a team player, and be able to interface with all levels of staff with a positive, collaborative, proactive approach.
• Requires exceptional attention to detail and exemplary communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing; and excellent proofreading skills.
• Requires the ability to acquire and maintain a Nebraska driver's license, as well as own a reliable vehicle, as job-related travel is required.

Working Conditions:
1. Normal office environment with little exposure to adverse working conditions. Exposure to changes in temperature and weather less than 10% of work. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, physically manipulate heavy and cumbersome objects, stand, walk, kneel and sit.
2. Normal office hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, with availability to work at special events, Danger Football games, or extra hours as needed or to complete projects and meet deadlines on some weekends, evenings, and holidays should be expected.
