Alfred J. Seaman Award for Best Undergraduate Essay on Advertising & Society

In 2011, the Advertising Educational Foundation created an annual award to recognize a quality paper by undergraduate students at American colleges or universities whose work best demonstrates a unique understanding of and insight into advertising and its role in society, culture, history and the economy.

The winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize, travel and accommodation to attend AEF's Honors Night dinner in New York City and will qualify for possible publication.

Submissions are due April 1.

The winner of the competition is selected by a panel of AEF board members, consisting of professors and advertising professionals. The 2013 award will be presented at the AEF annual Honors Night Dinner on June 11, 2013.
