Recruiter-College Distance Programs

Job Summary
This position will have direct responsibility for recruitment for college online programs. Develop and implement recruitment and/or marketing plans in support of distance education programs. Develop communication campaigns and follow up on leads generated through these campaigns, providing information and support for prospective students. Gather data and develop reports on effectiveness of campaigns and on potential markets.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Work within a team to develop and/or carry out data-driven recruitment/marketing plans for distance education and online courses and programs. Work closely with the college team and marketing department during the development and subsequent coordination and implementation of all types of recruitment activities.
• Develop leads from inquires, serving as on-call support. Develop data driven inquiry to enrollment communication campaigns, implementing these strategies to move inquiries to application.
• Participate in recruitment activities, such as trade shows, conferences, career fairs, and other related events. Develop strategies, tactics, and performance measurements for these types of recruitment activities.
• Gather, evaluate, and share critical data to inform all aspects of recruitment, communication, and/or marketing decisions. Conduct research into UNL market competitors, providing timely information to the team.
• Assume special projects, and participate in professional service. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, marketing or a related field plus two years of experience in student recruitment and/or marketing and promotion including project management, relationship building, and reporting related to promotion and recruiting campaigns. Experience must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, presentation, idea-generation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Talisma or another Client Relationship System and the ability to work within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application. Knowledge of the higher education environment.
