Position title: Marketing and Public Relations Assistant
Position description:
We are looking for a talented, inquisitive intern who wants to jump into a
live, fast-moving marketplace and make a difference. You'll be working
side-by-side with us on real-time strategies to get our product and our story
into mainstream and social media.
The right candidate may not have all the skills listed below but must
demonstrate ability and willingness to learn. This internship will earn you a
strong reference in the world of sustainable agriculture and food marketing.
Projects include:
SEO for existing and new Web content
market research and analysis
product analysis
best practice analysis per marketing channel
media release research and creation
analytics creation and monitoring for marketing initiatives
Required experience:
Exceptional ability to communicate effectively (whether writing or speaking)
Strong ability to perform and present research
Proven experience with social media and Web-based marketing
Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as collaborate with
others
Additional Requirements and General Information (education, skills,
transportation):
Must be able to travel to an interview and training on-site in Omaha,
Nebraska, if selected.
Must have his/her own computer or access to a computer and Internet to
perform work if not on-site in Omaha.
Job location: Downtown Omaha, NE with telecommuting possible upon training
