Position title: Public Relations Internship
Position description:
The University of Nebraska Foundation seeks a student with strong writing
skills for its public relations internship. The intern assists the
communications department by helping write news releases and news articles
about giving to the university; writing and conducting research for
publication articles; tracking and recording media coverage; and assisting
with various other communication and clerical projects. Completion of news
writing and editing courses and some familiarity with Associated Press style
is preferred. Word processing and PC experience required. The paid internship
offers flexible scheduling, professional experience and a convenient downtown
work location. Students interested in business communications, public
relations or news writing are especially encouraged to apply. Send resume,

Required experience: Strong writing skills; news or reporting writing course
expereince preferred.
