The digital-first reporter will be a member of the Statewide team – based in Bemidji, Minn. -- covering news and trends throughout the dozen counties of north-central Minnesota. The reporter will bring strong, fast writing and reporting skills to the team along with an innate digital sensibility – understanding how mobile, social and visual tools can be used in news reporting and audience engagement. Assignments will range among enterprise, daily general assignment, profiles, project, blogging and data reporting. The reporter at times will work collaboratively with the radio reporters on the Statewide team. The reporter also may be asked to follow a certain topic if necessary.
