FRONTLINE Web Internship
WGBH is public service media for New England - on TV, radio, the Web, and out in the community. We're the single largest producer of PBS prime-time and online programming, and a major source of programs heard on public radio from coast to coast. We're a pioneer in educational multimedia and in media access technologies for people with hearing or vision loss.
Department Description:
The Web team produces the companion Web sites for each new episode of FRONTLINE. Since 1983, FRONTLINE has served as American public television's flagship public affairs series. Hailed upon its debut on PBS as "the last best hope for broadcast documentaries," FRONTLINE's stature over 25 seasons is reaffirmed each week through incisive documentaries covering the scope and complexity of the human experience.
Internship Description:
The Web intern is an integral member of the Web team, assisting with the research, editing and proofing written content for sites. The intern may also take on special projects as assigned.
Skills Preferred:
Web research skills; strong knowledge of current events. Copyediting experience and/or familiarity with AP style highly desirable. Knowledge of HTML helpful but not necessary. Should be familiar with Mac OS, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Major Desired:
English, journalism (print, broadcast and/or new media), media studies, history, economics and political science.
WGBH Intern Requirements:

WGBH internships are open only to students enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Internships are unpaid.
