REPORTER: The Journal-Eureka newspaper in Anamosa, Iowa,
is looking for a top-notch reporter to join our staff of seven. The
person we hire will be a college graduate who shows a flair for
writing stories that capture readers with well-crafted leads and
writing that keeps readers hooked through the entire story. It
would be great if you could take photos that capture an event in
a well-composed image. We want someone who can develop his
or her own story ideas as well as completing assignments. The
Journal-Eureka is a 2,100-circulation weekly published on
Thursdays. Although our staff is small, we produce a quality
newspaper. We work constantly to improve. Anamosa is located
40-50 minutes from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Dubuque – it’s
a small town with all the amenities of a big city nearby. If you are
