BTN Network Operations Workshop

BTN is launching a new initiative called BTN N.O.W. (Network Operations Workshop) for recent Big Ten graduates with an interest in behind-the-scenes television production to help build the next generation of technical TV professionals. The 10-week training program, which will begin in June, will provide the selected participants with hands-on training while working alongside some of the industry’s leading professionals. Training will be conducted for positions including technical director, audio director, camera operator, graphics editor and Dyno/EVS technician. Housing and a weekly stipend will be provided, and the program will run between 30 and 40 hours a week.

REQUIREMENTS
· Must be a recent Big Ten graduate (within 2 years)
· Must have previous television production experience either via BTN Student U or local commercial or on-campus TV stations
· Must be interested in behind-the-scenes work (not on-air)
