KOCO-TV 5, Hearst Television’s ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City, seeks a dynamic general assignment reporter.
Job Responsibilities:
Find and report stories that live up to our “Live, Local, Late-Breaking” brand. Tell lively, compelling and relevant stories. Must be able to enterprise and cultivate sources in order to break stories. Must write tight copy and adhere to deadlines. Hustle on breaking news and deliver smooth, coherent live shots. Contribute daily to station’s digital and social media platforms.

Experience:
Experience Requirements:
• 2 years prior experience as a television news reporter
• Excellent writing and creative skills
• Excellent live skills
• Ability to produce content on multiple platforms
• Hard worker with exceptional news judgment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Work well with a team
Requirements:
• College Degree
