Campus Sports is an upstart college news site looking to provide fans and
viewers with the latest coverage of their favorite sports teams. At the
moment we currently cover football, baseball and basketball, but in the
future plan to expand to cover all sports at the collegiate level. Our
content includes but is not limited to: in-depth team analysis, injury
updates, recruiting news, game previews, players to watch, etc. Any news that
we think we would be of interest to college sports fans, we'll produce well
and we'll produce quickly.

Are you an aspiring journalist looking to cover college sports? Are you a
journalism student looking for formal writing experience? Are you a big
sports fan who just enjoys writing about your favorite teams?

Campus Sports has exactly what you're looking for!

We are currently looking for new writers and are targeting college students
interested in gaining professional writing experience covering sports in the
form a formal writing internship.

Unlike most news internships, our writers are given the opportunity to write
content of their choosing and work with our staff to develop a flexible
writing schedule to fit your personal academic needs. In return, we offer a
space for you to build a writing portfolio and publish your work, and gain
invaluable writing experience in a field where experience is everything.

Additional Requirements and General Information (education, skills,
transportation): There are no requirements for consideration, although
submission of a resume is required for evaluation.

submit a 300-500 word writing sample on a sports topic of their choosing.
Review of this writing sample will play the strongest role in our
consideration of potential applicants.
