Daily Nebraskan part-time emcee/event promoter (paid)

The DN is looking for a current student with strong
written and verbal communication skills to emcee our twice-weekly DNewsmakers events and help promote them via social media, on-campus connections and distribution of promotional materials. DNewsmakers events bring speakers, panelists and performers to the Nebraska Union Crib on Monday and Thursday afternoons at 2 p.m.

This job is a paid, 10 hours per-week commitment. Applicants must be available between 1:45 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and comfortable speaking in front of an audience. Campus knowledge and social media/marketing experience preferred.
