Young creatives ignite – apply for Emspace FORGE 2015

This free, seven-session program will provide students with an experience not found in any classroom. The Emspace Group team, together with other area creatives, will engage participants in interactive discussions about the expectations of today’s emerging creative professional and reveal insights into real-world applications of their newly acquired education and talents.

This program includes:

• Peer and professional networking
• Résumé building
• Creative exercises
• Professional mentorship
• Portfolio review

The program will introduce the benefits of a collaborative process by integrating 8–10 students from a variety of academic backgrounds and creative interests. Students will be given the unique opportunity to learn and examine disciplines and talents outside of, but related to, their own career discipline.

Qualified applicants must be in the second half of their degree program or recently graduated from a college or university. They will be selected from a range of creative disciplines, including but not limited to:

• Public Relations
• Journalism
• Graphic Design
• Web Design
• Marketing
• Advertising
• Strategic Communications
• Copywriting
• Account Management

The program will consist of seven sessions beginning in January and continuing into April 2015. Sessions will be held semi-monthly from 4–6 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons at Emspace Group, 7634 Pierce Street, in Omaha, Nebraska. Applicants must commit to attending all sessions to be eligible.

Applications are due November 7, 2014. Apply here: http://www.emspaceforge.com/wp-content/themes/forge/downloads/forge-application-2015.pdf
