Our audience includes some of the country's largest farmers and livestock producers, as well as processors, seed companies, exporters and other industries associated with agribusinesses.
Reporters need not be experts in agriculture, but they do need to be highly-motivated self-starters willing to chase a story. Interns write, edit, take photographs and potentially shoot and edit video. We treat interns as staff members during employment.
Photography and video backgrounds are a plus, but not necessary.
Note: Our last two interns ended up becoming full-time, award-winning reporters on our staff.
