Marketing Coordinator Position Description: Part-time with potential of full-time position after 3 month trial period
• Assist Director of Marketing with Hobby Outlook (online consumer magazine) - work closely with advertisers and sponsors to coordinate ad space and product: also assist with copy editing, photography, facilitating product reviews and coordinating contributing writers

• Assist franchisees in the implementation of marketing promotions, strategy and in-store sales

• Assist Director of Marketing in the planning and coordination of HTU National Convention – may include some event collateral design and creative execution

• Track store sales and promotions for consumer research and sale effectiveness

• Assist Director of Marketing in coordinating vendors for the 2011 Holiday Gift Guide

• Assist Director of Marketing with new HTU proprietary products

• Other duties include: writing press releases, various graphic design projects, working with vendors, event planning and assisting franchisees

Requirements: Applicant must be extremely reliable, organized and willing to take initiative. Experience with copywriting, social media, Adobe CS4 and Microsoft Office preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Degree relating to Marketing and/or Advertising ideal.
