Responsibilities
• Supporting communication initiatives on employee benefits, wellness and other human resources/people issues
• Helping to develop content and graphics for the company’s internal portal and Yammer news engine
• Assisting with the company’s internal news engine, developing story ideas, content and graphics for the internal portal and company Yammer sites
• Collaborating with and counseling internal clients and company leaders on effective communication, with all audiences in mind, but with alignment on a specific outcome to be achieved with the employee audience
• Supporting quarterly town halls, annual employee meeting, and other employee-focused events, as needed
• Working collaboratively with the Communication and External Relations team and individuals at varying job levels to support communication projects, as needed
• Evaluating, measuring and regularly reporting on the effectiveness of communication initiatives
Requirements
• Students who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in journalism, communication, public relations or business administration or a related field
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Knowledge of social media, PhotoShop a plus
• Attention to detail, responsiveness, sound judgment and proactive organization and planning skills
• Common sense, a move-with-urgency mindset and the ability to actively manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing time-sensitive priorities
• Ability to support broader communication strategies with tactical programs and be a contributing team member of projects led by others
• Personal reputation for integrity, ethics and cross-cultural sensitivity
