Semester in Washington Post-Grad Fellow, Scripps Howard Foundation

The post-graduate, multimedia fellow manages and maintains the Scripps Howard Foundation Wire’s website. He or she creates multimedia projects for the website, works with undergraduate interns to develop multimedia projects and provides leadership to a team that produces news stories and projects.

Qualified applicants must have professional-level expertise in HTML, content management systems and CSS. Applicants must also have high-level skills in reporting and writing, shooting photos and editing video.

Applicants must have either a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

This one-year, post-graduate, multimedia fellowship will begin in early September and run through mid-August 2016.

The fellowship includes a $23,136 stipend, plus free housing in a furnished apartment shared with the program’s undergraduate interns. The fellowship does not include benefits and will not result in a job. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, hold a green card or have a work permit under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program to apply for this fellowship.
