Marketing/Staff Assistant, Arts Incorporated

Arts Incorporated, Lincoln is looking for a part-time, long-term staff member to perform a variety of tasks at Arts Incorporated.

Arts Incorporated manages a variety of nonprofit organizations, including the Nebraska Brass, Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company, Capital Jazz Society, Association of Nonprofit Executives, Nebraska Trumpet Ensemble, Lincoln Municipal Band and Lincoln Community Foundation Garden Performance Series. We are looking for a bright, highly motivated and very organized, detail-oriented individual interested in working with all aspects of arts and nonprofit organization management, including marketing, board and volunteer development, events, ticket sales, and more, to perform a variety of office tasks.

The position requires very strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task. Duties may include assistance with event coordination, written correspondence, production of press releases, programs, newsletters and marketing materials, data entry, and performance of various clerical tasks. The applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable making and answering phone calls.

The job is part-time (10-15 hours/week), flex-time, at an office located in the south Haymarket area. Hourly wage is negotiable, depending on experience and ability. Professional, creative, casual and non-traditional office atmosphere. Must like (or tolerate) cats, birds, and tropical fish, and be willing to take part in their daily care.
