Vision Maker Media has part-time (up to 20 hours per week) positions for full or part-time enrolled UNL college student. Position will report to the Assistant Director.
Duties: Based on your skill set, work with staff in various duties, such as multimedia journalism, graphic design, social media and website posting, analytics management, Native American research or general office duties.
Skills Required: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Other software knowledge could include InDesign, Tableau or other dashboard software, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Preference given to journalism students with knowledge of editing software and interviewing skills.
Qualified applicants will have strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to be organized, detail oriented, efficient and meet assigned deadlines.
HOURS: 20 per week
