Tutors, Student Support Services

Student Support Services is currently seeking to hire tutors for several different courses for fall semester. Specific courses it’s looking for include, but are not limited to: CHEM 109 & 251, ARCH 335, MATH 203 and ADPR 151.

In order to qualify, applicants must:
· Be a UNL student (graduate or undergraduate) with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
· Have a strong commitment to learning and must be sensitive to the individual problems of a wide range of students.
· Have strong interpersonal communication skills in order to express ideas clearly to under-prepared students.
Tutors will be paid $8.00 per hour. This included all hours that a tutor meets with tutees, and one hour of paid prep time per three hours tutored each week.
