The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking a student interested in developing and executing a media plan for the UCARE program and for the Office of Undergraduate Research as a whole. The student would create a comprehensive social media plan for AY 16-17, design marketing materials like fliers, brochures, etc., and write news releases and student profiles for the UCARE website and for submission to UNL Today and other venues. We're looking for a creative self-starter who can propose new, innovative ideas and follow through to completion. Your level of autonomy will grow with your demonstrated success.
Interested students should have design experience and know how to use the Adobe Creative Suite. Strong writing and communication skills are a must. Knowledge of social media platforms is essential. Past undergraduate research experience is helpful. This experience may be best suited for a student in journalism, but we will consider students from other majors who meet these requirements. This is a great opportunity for a student who wants to start at the ground level and "make it your own."
