Unlike many other Washington, DC internship programs, we guarantee you an internship placement with one of the following types of organizations:

HOUSING

COURSES FOR CREDIT
Maximize your summer by also taking courses between 3 and 9 credits from George Mason University. Take courses designed for journalism and communication majors and choose from a variety of engaging electives. Learn from Professor Richard Benedetto, founding White House and Campaign Reporter for USA TODAY. His internship seminar will give you an insider’s view of political reporting. You’ll also hear from Pulitzer Prize winning guest speakers. Click here to read more about the courses.

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING
We award over $1 million in scholarship funding each year, and there are generous scholarships still available. Students receive awards based on financial need and merit and which typically to range from $1,000 -$4,500.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through the April 6 extended deadline. Students will be notified of their admission decision within two weeks of completing an application.
