The Omaha Equestrian Foundation Event Intern should be detail oriented, responsible, reliable, and able to work in a fast paced environment. This positions supports the overall administration and operations of a large event, including, but not limited to coordination of vendors, volunteers, and officials, database management, sales, market-ing, and PR support, and other duties that come up.
Job Duties:
40% - Operation Organization
30% - Office Administration
10% - Website, Social Media, Graphic Design
10% - Sales Fulfillment
10% - Other Duties as assigned
-Help prepare information and the distribution of that information to Sponsors, Volunteers, Vendors, and other Stakeholders
-Schedule and attend regular strategic planning meetings.
-Work alongside vendor and volunteer coordinators to maintain relationships and regular communications with current Volunteers, Vendors, and other Stakeholders
-Help execute all sponsorship and vendor fulfillment including but not limited to the following: Ticket distribution, logo collection, signage design and ordering, sponsorship book production and distribution, and overall communi-cations.
Requirements:
Completing Bachelor’s in communication, marketing, sport management, non-profit management or a related field
Good organizational, administrative, writing, and communication skills Basic graphic design knowledge is helpful, but not required
