The Norfolk Daily News will be interviewing students for its 2017 summer reporting internship. Ideally, candidates will be finishing their sophomore or junior years by then, but any journalism students are invited to sign up for an interview with Kent Warneke, editor of the newspaper. The 12-week internship focuses on reporting and writing, including time for an end-of-the summer major reporting project. Competitive wage and a $1,000 scholarship for the following school year. Natasha Rausch, Chris Bowling and Marcella Mercer, all past interns, can share their thoughts about the Daily News’ internship.
