Want to know more about the fabulous Dow Jones internship program? Thinking about a career editing in either sports or news?
Join the student chapter of ACES this Friday at 3 p.m. in Room 120, Andersen Hall. We'll Skype with two recent grads who both had Dow Jones editing internships and now work as copy editors. John Schreier spent a Dow Jones summer on the sports editing desk of the Denver Post and now edits for the Omaha World-Herald. Johnna Hjersman spent her Dow Jones summer at the Palm Beach Post on the news desk. She now works for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Little Rock.
The Dow Jones test is coming up in October. John and Johnna will offer valuable tips for students who are thinking about applying.
You don't have to be an ACES (American Copy Editors Society) member to join the meeting. But once you check us out, you may decide to join our chapter. We have treats and fun at every meeting.
