The College of Journalism and Mass Communications would like to congratulate broadcasting students and members of the National Broadcasting Society who have been named finalists in the 2016-2017 National Undergraduate Student Electronic Media Competition.

UNL finalists (announced so far) are:

Bassey Arikpo--“De-flock-tion (A Mockumentary Skit)” (Video Comedy Segment)

Bassey Arikpo--“The Problem With YouTube Copyright” (Animation)

Zachary Penrice--“Kneeling During the National Anthem” (Audio Feature Segment)

Jack Housenga and Kellan Heavican--“In The Huddle” (Audio Magazine Program)

Additional finalists for other categories will be named soon.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the NBS-AERho 75th national convention in New York City on March 25.
