Lincoln Children’s Zoo is looking for qualified interns to join our photojournalist team. Our photojournalist team overseese the Zoo's Summer Camp blog and takes photos during events and general Zoo hours. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of social media, marketing, communications and public relations.
Responsibilities:
Interns will be assigned an area of focus. The list below includes all areas of focus.
-Assist in overseeing the Zoo's Summer Camp blog
-Take photos during Summer Camps
-Assist in creating content for the Summer Camp blog
-Assist in planning and strategy for the Summer Camp blog
-Takes photos of Zoo events and other Zoo related material
Requirements:
This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of photography. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience as well as Adobe Create Suite is a preferred. Must be available for 20 hours a week (June - early August). Interns typically work Monday through Friday.
