Mark your calendars for the upcoming Vis Comm workshops taking place today, tomorrow and Saturday!
Today’s workshop will be on website, focusing on the fundamentals of creating a basic html webpage, including using CSS to format the page. It was take place at 4:30 p.m. in the Basement Lab, Andersen Hall.
Friday’s workshop is an Adobe Bootcamp focusing on InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. It will take place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Basement Lab, Andersen Hall. The bootcamp will be an intense immersion into how to use these three applications individually as well as together to produce a variety of projects. Space is limited to 30 students, so sign up outside Room 44. Bring your own lunch.
Saturday, April 1, is an Adobe Bootcamp focusing on Premier and Audition. It will take place in the Basement Lab, Andersen Hall from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. It will focuses on how to use Premier and Audition individually and together to produce projects. Space is limited to 30 students, so sign up outside Room 44. Bring your own lunch.
These workshop are part of the series of workshops the CoJMC is offering in visual communications during March and April 2017. While the workshops are designed around the Vis Comm courses, all CoJMC students are welcome to attend any of them. Extra credit is offered for Vis Comm students who attend and sign in on the official sign-in sheet. Some workshops have limited space as noted on the attached schedule. All sessions are one hour unless otherwise noted.
