M.E. GROUP is looking for a qualified part-time intern to join our marketing/communications team. Our marketing department produces high-quality work for our firm’s seven office locations and seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of print and online marketing campaigns.
The qualified candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.
Responsibilities:
-Develop new social media campaigns from the ground up, considering our clients’ needs and their specific industries
-Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas and memes, and provide suggestions to capitalize on those trends through our social media accounts
-Assist with capturing and analyzing social media metrics
-Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
-Develop marketing campaigns and assist in their production
-Day-to-day management of Client Resource Management (CRM) system (data entry / reports)
-Develop a Summer Intern Blog
-Assist in the production of Business Development Promotional Campaigns
-Assist in the production of Marketing Collateral Pieces
-Maintain proposal templates
-Conduct market research
-Information gathering for newsletters, blogs, project write-ups and proposals
-Assist in the preparation of presentations
Requirements:
M.E. GROUP is looking for an undergraduate student in the Kansas City area who is majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Sales or Journalism. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. InDesign and Microsoft Office experience is required and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.
