Multiple Internships, OH Partners (Phoenix, AZ)

OBJECTIVES:

-Provide a high-quality set of internships across multiple departments as a means of developing a pipeline of entry level employees
-Provide “real work” that challenges interns and prospective employees with meaningful opportunities where they can experience agency life, thereby helping with career decision-making
-Create a positive branding experience about OH that candidates will want to amplify through their university and/or social networks

INTERNSHIP SCOPE:

-Minimum of 8 weeks: Maximum of 12 weeks
-Minimum of 3 days per week; Maximum of 4 days per week (depends on hiring mgr)
-Compensation: $10.50/hr

ANTICIPATED WORK EXPERIENCE / EXPOSURE:

-Analytical and research projects for existing clients
-Analytical and research projects for new business proposals / presentations
-Assist in preparation of an RFP
-Pulling reports
-Development of Case Studies for existing clients
-Updating or posting content to website
-Member of one of the top client teams - Lottery, GRGE, Fiesta Bowl, Sedona, DHS
-Participation in multiple on-going agency processes / meetings
Monday Morning Magic
-Scrums
-Offsite Meeting (July)
-Community Engagement Committee activity
-Meetings with and/or Presentation(s) to clients
-Lunch & Learn
-Assigned mentor and manager
-Intern Group Project and Presentation to ELT
-Informal Performance Review using What Counts Factors
-Keeping a “journal” of work experiences
-“Graduation Exercise”

Internships will be 3-4 days per week for a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks, with schedules to be arranged with the hiring Department Heads. You will have a supervisor and a mentor for this internship, to ensure that we achieve mutually satisfying outcomes for students and our company.
