NET News- Student Worker

NET News seeks a student worker for a position focused on radio broadcast journalism and digital journalism. The successful candidate will produce news stories to air on NET Radio and possibly be featured on the NET News website and social media channels. The student could be asked to pitch, interview, produce and write for these stories. Student ideally will be a junior or senior in good academic standing and have completed at least two journalism courses. Expected to stay abreast of current events and to follow NET News content on radio, television, online and social media.

Position available for up to 20 hours a week for the fall of 2017. Student will work with NET News reporters and producers and receive instruction on best practices and hands-on training on producing stories for multiple platforms and may be asked to work flexible hours.
