The Omaha World-Herald’s assistant metro editor Dan Golden will be on campus on Thursday, Oct. 26, to interview students interested in a 2018 summer internship. The interviews were previously announced to be on Nov. 26.
Qualifications: Completion of your junior year in college and previous internship experience at a daily newspaper or news organization. Interns typically handle spot news and enterprise, just like full-time reporters.
Skills: Curious, flexible, quick-thinking journalists who want to get better.
Compensation: $10/hr. plus $1,000 scholarship upon successful completion of the internship.
