The University of Nebraska Foundation is seeking a creative art, advertising, or journalism student with demonstrated graphic design ability to join our organization as a design intern. The position involves “hands-on” design and production of printed materials such as invitations, programs, brochures and magazines, resulting in great work for student portfolios. The design intern may also support the foundation’s interactive marketing department by editing and optimizing images for online use and designing and placing graphical elements for online use. In addition to these core job duties, the intern is available to assist all members of the department with various projects and assignments. The ideal applicant should be detail-oriented, have excellent design and communication skills, and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with HTML and basic CSS, Dreamweaver also a plus. This paid position offers a flexible schedule and 10-15 hours per week and a convenient work location.
