Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is looking for a Marketing Intern, Internal Communications, to drive the business by assisting the team in the development, production and implementation of the Company's corporate relations internally as the champion for ensuring the Company's brand is properly and consistently articulated in written and digital communications to associates.
Examples of work include: interviewing and writing stories 250-300 words each, sponsorship processing and tracking and other communication assignments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assists with internal communications
- Assists with media and sponsorship messaging, tracking, research, and planning
- Assists with executing internal communications plans
- Assists with logistics on events, metrics, and record keeping
- Write and edit copy for e-publications, brochures, emails, and intranet articles.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in college program for the course the internship
- Able to fulfill a year-round commitment
- PT during the school year
- FT during the summer
- Strong oral and writing skills
- Interest in organizational communication, marketing, and community relations
- Ability to ask questions and write accurately about the business
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
