KFOR is expanding its newsroom and is looking for a few aspiring news broadcasters. This internship allows a journalism or broadcasting student hands-on experience covering the growing city of Lincoln.
Interns typically attend the daily news briefings with the Lincoln Police Department and create voicers, wraps, and news articles on the briefing. Interns also have the opportunity to cover breaking news, cover afternoon traffic reports, learn how to produce KFOR shows, develop original news content, and contribute to the KFOR News Team in general.
The experience is up to how much the intern wants to learn about the news business and how committed the intern is. The right students may have the chance for part-time employment.
