Students competing for the award must be a PRSSA member. Applicants will be judged on PR-related achievements, activities and recommendations from faculty members and/or industry professionals. Students also will be evaluated on creativity, attention to detail and writing skills.
The winner receives a $1,500 cash award and a paid internship at one of Edelman’s U.S. offices. The runner-up receives a $500 cash award and the opportunity to interview with Edelman for a paid internship position. The Daniel J. Edelman/PRSSA Award was created to offer the brightest and most talented students an opportunity to develop through high-quality work assignments and a multifaceted work environment.
