Nebraska University DC Professional Enrichment Academy is an amazing opportunity for all UNL students interested in interning in our nation’s capital during summer 2019. D.C. Professional Enrichment Academy was a great success this summer (our first year) and we hope to have an even bigger cohort next summer. Through the Academy, students will benefit from thoughtful mentoring and programming, expand their network, and learn to transition from college into their professional careers. All current University of Nebraska students interning in Washington, D.C. during the summer are eligible to apply, including students from all four campuses and from any major or discipline. We want all UNL students to take advantage of this opportunity and we are organizing an information session for students, staff and faculty. During the session three alumni of the program will share their experiences. The Academy is not only a resource while in DC, but also can help students with finding the right internship, housing, and will also provide financial assistance for those students who need it.
