NTV News (KHGI/KFXL) has an immediate opening for a dynamic News Producer. The winning candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our daily newscasts (morning, evening, weekend). You'll work closely with the anchors, production team, and the news director on the newscast and its content. In this position, you will determine the content and flow of newscasts, work with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories, and also develop content for our web site.

> Excellent communication skills
> The ability to execute news strategies and goals in daily newscasts
> Flexibility and on-the-spot problems solving abilities are a must
> Proficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Avid, Edius, Final Cut) and newsroom systems
Experience/Education:
> Must have a college degree and have completed an internship in a professional newsroom
> Previous news producing experience is desired but we will train the right candidate
